I don't let Lacey roll in grass (or dirt) after a bath, she stays on leash until she's dry lol. She doesn't really try to though, she has tried maybe 4 times. But she may have just realized that I am not going to let her do it. When she rolls in the grass (wet or dry) her white legs turn bright green lol. If she was a solid dark color, I would probably let her rub in the grass all she wanted. Lacey said thats not fair - that Iam racial profiling. ;)

She makes up for it though, if I don't get her in a crate fast enough when she's wet she rolls/rubs all over my bed! lol!

Yes I do, they love it. They roll all over the carpet unless it's sunny outside and then I let them go outside and roll in the grass but I watch them very closely otherwise they'll go roll in the dirt.

I don't stop them, if that's what you mean. :p Lol but I would prefer that they didn't. Doesn't really bother me when Juno does it, because a) she's easy to bathe and b) her short hair doesn't really get dirty anyway. But I get really upset when I bring Lucy home from the groomer, and she's all white and fluffy, and the first thing she does is roll around in grass and dirt.

Heck no! They get put into their crates to dry after a bath. I always make sure they potty beforehand so I don't have to let them out for awhile after a bath.

No way. Sheena is white and she does get grass stains. That is the last look I want with her going into businesses. A green and white Dog. Maybe for St. Patricks day. lol

Tiffany doesn't roll in the grass. She's too prissy, haha.

Rolling on the carpet however? Her favorite thing to do after a bath. I usually just let her loose and laugh as she frantically rolls around.

I don't. I learned my lesson after one time. I'm a faster learner, lol. Ozzy zoomed outside and frantically threw himself all over the lawn. :p Enzo found the dirt/dust bowl.

HECK NO! I work too hard getting them clean to let them go mess themselves! No dirt rolling until they're DRY, I love my dogs, but typically they roll in dirt and then come back and roll all over the bed. No go right here. LOL

I don't have a backyard so Prim doesn't have the luxury of rolling in the grass (poor thing). She seems pretty satisfied with the crazy towel dance though!

Of COURSE! :lol-sign:

I think it is the only reason Frodo tolerates the bathing part as well as he does :p

Depends on what we are doing. If he got a bath for a show, NO hes not allowed. Its strickly on leash potty breaks until after the show. If hes getting a bath just because hes finally dirty(which doesn't happen very often) then yea, I will let him.

Peewee has never really tried. They both will roll around in the house on the carpet and the couch (which is Ivans favorte place to roll on).

It depends for me. I usually do if it's not in an area where there is alot of dirt, or bad weather. If it's been not nice weather for some days, and they need a bath, I won't let them out to roll as they will just get dirty again from mud. But if grass is fresh, I do not mind.

Oh, they love it! I couldn't possibly stop them. Their expressions of complete glee make me laugh everytime. But I do make sure there is no bat/possum crap in the vicinity. That's not funny.

I am blessed with wash n wear type dogs. The dirt and grass seems to just fall off them.

AFter a bath mine lay under a blanket and steam until they are for the most part dry. When they are done with that they have great zoom plays, but not outside until they are completely dry.
