Zoey, myself, my mother, and her dog Tinker Bell are going to a trial in March. It'll be March 21, and 22, and my birthday is March 26th. I'm not going expecting a Q, but with how close we came at our last trial, I wouldn't be surprised. My little girl can sure move!

It'll be our first indoor trial, and technically, only our 3rd trial we've competed in. It'll be mom and Tinker Bells second trial, first indoor, and Tinky already has one Q (after only 4 months of training, she Qd in a starters jumpers course)...

Zoey's training has been really good this winter, I'm really proud of her. She's gotten better about sending out to things, her speed has come up (again!), and her offside weaves are getting more solid with each pratice. Her love for tunnels seems to be growing and growing, and I'm really pleased with how she has gotten better about crosses.

So, I'm pretty excited. We'll never bring home 1st places anymore (Mom and Tink compete at 16 inch, as well, and other than Jumpers, Tinky's in all the same divisions as Zoey and I.), but Zoey and I go to have fun.

Any tips on what we could do to get ready for out first indoor trial? (Zoey has worked indoors before, with people, and dogs around, but this'll be more people, and more dogs.) We're working on our stays, and taking the obstacle in front of her, no matter what (since the reason we didn't Q last time was cause she went around the first jump, because I set her up crooked, so we've been working on that).

ETA: The courses they'll be running are Saturday: 2 Standards courses, and a Gamblers. Sunday: 2 Standards and a Jumpers. The fee for the whole weekend is 78.00$, and the only thing I probably wouldn't do with Zoey would be the Gamblers, but I could do it just for the heck of it, if it would be cheaper to pay the weekend fee... Hmm, I guess I need to do the math.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I have no idea what some of that talk was since I'm just getting into agility and we don't do any training or competeing in the winter months. I hope you have a great time.
