Pictured below is a perfect example of the ecological display of the nature of Great Danes. It clearly seems that Great Danes have a strong aversion to the floor, if were to sleep there they would most definitely parish. Obviously they they are willing to pile on top of one another to keep as much distance between the floor and their bodies. Giant sized dog beds are available to them, but apparently they have recently changed their minds about the quality of such things...which is not unusual. They have a keen sense of what is comfy and what is not so comfy.
