Blondie is intact because he was sick when he was a pup (ehrlichia) and went through so much that I didn't want to do it, besides we didn't know we were going to have a baby girl in the house. I think 6 months will be fine for her.

Thanks for all of your valuable opinions. I do worry about the growth thing, but Blondie is around and even though he doesn't really like her yet, I'm not sure he'll be able to resist her if she comes into heat! :yikes:

I think it's normal behavior for a puppy her age, be patient and she'll be fine in a couple of weeks.

Blondie always walks on a leash... I was once walking him in some neighborhood we'd never been to, and a dog kind of attacked him. He was two years old or so, fully grown I mean, but I picked him up. I will defend my dogs any way I can, I don't care if people think I'm spoiling him or ruining...

It's definitely a pup thing and will be over soon, especially after you say he's learning to go where he's supposed to. Christie is only 2 months old and I know I'll have to wait a couple of weeks for her to completely stop peeing in the house, but it will happen eventually ;)

I know that, Tucker! But I'm afraid Blondie gets too agressive and hurts her. I'm waiting for her to have 3 sets of shots to take them for a walk to the park and let them play there, or home when they're excited but tired. (crossing fingers)

Have you tried to lock her there for a few minutes? With a lot of her favorite toys and if you're near her, she'll be OK. She might cry for a few minutes but will soon get used to it. Just an idea...
