just wanted to share. LOL what a look! hes all squinty eyed. looks rather intimidating if he looks like something other than husky/border collie, let me know. still open to breed suggestions.

Skyler, my husky/border collie mix is about 1 yr old. i have had him only for a few months. he is a GREAT dog. i am only having one issue with him. he is very mouthy he likes the chew all up and down my arms and legs. and if he isnt chewing... he is licking. he usually likes to lick my feet...

yeah i get it all the time. skyler's eyes are white with just a little blue around the rim. i havent had him but a few months and i bet weekly atleast one person at the dog park mentions his eyes, and that he must be nearly blind.

yeah i've had lab cross my mind too. atleast im pretty sure he's husky/bc the other dog in there is probably anyones guess. i wonder how much those DNA tests are :D

most of my collars come from walmart. i have a few that are super cute :) i have one from earthdog i LOVE the look and feel of the collar, but its wasnt worth the money. it wont hold its adjustment. and slides loose.

i think his ears is what confuses me the most. they are sooo heavy and hard. its difficult to even clean them because they dont bend back much. and the tips are rounded not pointy. you can easily get 8 inches or even maybe more like 10 inches from scruffing him. dont huskies have some loose...

aw thanks babyblue :) i was thinking that maybe he had husky in him too. but maybe border collie/husky/??? i would just imagine that he would have longer hair, and his ears wouldnt be so tiny if he was just bc/husky. id love to do one of those DNA test just out of curiosity.

i agree. very hard to tell when they are so young. but i see chihuahua also.

this is skyler :) he's my new boy, recently rescued from a high kill shelter. he loves to try to herd everything that moves. he will sometimes crouch down and give that border collie stare. so I think that he has border collie in him no doubt! his tail is usually curled above his back...
