Hi everybody. I found Chazhound's when I was looking for dog grooming tips. There are so many great topics being discussed here and so many nice people. My name is Russ and I have a 7 year old female shih tzu named Button. She is my world.

I think I might just try using a dremel now. I was afraid to before because I thought it might be easier to hit the quick by accident, but it sounds like it's less nerve wracking than using regular clippers.

Yeah, my Button does this all the time. Always wants to snuggle. She does get down after like 10 minutes, only to come back up again in 5, lol
