Has anyone heard of them or tried their dog foods?

I was wondering if I should register my puppy with the AKC. He will only be a couch potato, I have no plans of breeding or showing him. I have only had rescues in the past and this is my first time I've had the option of AKC ;) What do you all think, should I register him??? Thanks for any...
