Thank you for great information. I wish it were mandatory for everyone getting a puppy to have some sort of training. If so, it would greatly reduce the problems that occur as the dog gets older. It all begins with us.

I think in the long run, they'd appreciate the updates. My neighbor's sister had to give up her dog due to illness and received updates. She absolutely loved them. The love never dies no matter what. And she was thankful her dog was settling into such a nurturing environment.

this was great! my dog loves the snow as well. although we don't have a hill for her to slide down, she does roll around, jump & down, mush her face in and basically, just have a good ole tme:)

I'm a regular on PetFinder, too. Yet, I know I cannot adopt another dog. Seems we all sufer with the "why-can't-we-save-them-all" syndrome. Would love to give a home to Goober. Can't believe there are so many cruel people in this world....

we all have dogs we're partial to and those we'd pass on in a heartbeat. most of the time the problem isn't with the dog but with the owner. lack of being a responsible owner will create an unstable dog. when you have a negative experience with any breed it causes you to be apprehensive...
