Why am I so attracted to people and animals that have something seriously wrong with them? Is it because I want to “fix†them so badly, even though I know, deep down, that I can’t? But if I know that, why do I try so hard? Why can’t I just let them go? Life really sucks sometimes.

I have a new foster girl - a lovely pit bull that is just wonderful! She's still very scared, and hasn't really taken an interest in any food items (and I have tried everything) - except Matt's Cheerios. Now, obviously, I am not going to feed her Cheerios in place of her food. :lol-sign...

And it...ummm...did not go well. And by "not go well", I mean Flicka got a 130 and Pepe got a 125. And the worst part was that it was completely my fault - I knew I was off my game, and I was nervous, and I know they (especially Flicka) tuned into that, and then they were off their game...
