I read these forums long before I got a puppy and it helped me A LOT when I brought Della home. It's best to be prepared when you get a puppy or kitty - it's like having a child - sort of lol.

I feed 1/2 a cup of food in the morning and another 1/2 at night. If Della eats too much at once she tends to throw it up. I think it really depends on the dog though - do what your dog seems to like the most.
