Thought I would ask all of you what we should do about Jersey. She is absolutely scared to death of storms (which we get our fair share of here in Texas) and now her fright has carried over into Lucy, her daughter. They will shake and tremble like they are having seizures and will NOT go 2...

Thanks for your reply. Crating is a good idea. As for the mental and physical exercise...she gets plenty of stimulation running and playing outside on a half acre most of the day and has a doggie door she and her daughter run in and out of all day long. We talk to them like danged humans and...

UPDATE!!!!! Lucy has FINALLY learned how to come in and out of the doggy door. The flap still frightens her and she has her own little way of opening it, which is pretty funny to watch. Irregardless, she's doing it. Thanks everyone!

Alrighty then...we have a female dog who was spayed about 2 weeks ago. WHY, WHY, WHY, does she uhhhhh "mount" her daughter who got spayed at the same time? Is she coming out of the closet? Somebody please tell us why she's doing this. Thanks! :yikes:

We purchased the fence as well and have had NO problems whatsoever. Now Lucy (the youngest) pushes the envelope on occasion and gets a little brave, but she still does not break all the way through the barrier. It's wonderful and one of the best investments we've made EVER. I would recommend...

Sure wish mommy would let us go outside.

I sit with mommy while she works. She does medical transcription at home, so she keeps me pretty busy.
