Exactly! My dogs both have their days where one sucks while the other is just straight up awesome, and the next day it's vice versa. So, they both have their moments in the spotlight. If they were both to die tomorrow, I would grieve hysterically for both of them, not one more than the other.

I feel weird saying this, since it seems I'm the only one, but....not really, no. I love both of my dogs equally for individual reasons. I think I spend more time with Ma'ii, because he's clingier and has anxiety issues I'm constantly trying to help him with, but I really don't love one more...

Yeah, Veronica wasn't exaggerating when she said Piper looked terrible at her court ordered vet exam back in April. Poor dog :/

She was ordered to be seen in court for a vet evaluation last spring, and according to Veronica, who was allowed to be there for it, she didn't look good.

I'm not a fan of people names for dogs either. We have Charlotte, but she was my husband's dog long before I came into the picture, so it's sort of not my call.

When I was really young I wanted a GSD pretty bad, until my beagle and I were attacked by one that belonged to the neighbors when I was 12. All interest went out the window at that point. Nothing against them now, but no I wouldn't want one at this point. I've seen far to many health issues...

Wanted to give a quick update. Char seems to be healing okay, though I was right about being concerned for her mental and emotional state. Already, she's very uneasy going outside. She's a lot more nervous, alert, and freezes, hesitates or bristled simply at the sounds of dogs barking close by...
