    New pictures of Blitz!

Another example of Blitz's favorite way to sleep!! He does find some odd ways to sleep... Under the bed, he has to flatten himself out as much as possible!! That's all for now!

    New pictures of Blitz!

Favorite way to sleep. Once again, Blitz's favorite way to sleep. Found Blitz like this one day! Blitz playing with Corky, a dog I babysit.

    New pictures of Blitz!

We went to a ranch outing with a bunch of other puppy raisers, since it was a good experience for the pups. Blitz really liked the horse. It would not hold it's head still!! We also saw some cows. There was a camel. On the way home, with Harley.

    New pictures of Blitz!

Hey guys! So it's been a while since I've posted pics. Here's some updates!! We recently went to the Dodgers Stadium. Blitz came along!! In front of the field. In the dugout. ON the field... In front of the wall with all the players names on it.

What'd you guys think of poodle/golden crosses?

As I have said a million times before, the poodles DID NOT work out. They are shy in crowds, and are more of one person dogs. These puppies grow up with one person from the time they're born to eight weeks, then they go off to a puppy raiser and are swapped around alot to get them used to other...

What'd you guys think of poodle/golden crosses?

Thanks, Romy. I'm not good at explaining things, but yes, that's exactly what I meant. What you described with pure poodles is exactly why most of them didn't make it. I know that a couple were dropped for aggressive issues when out and about, and one was dropped for having a submissive...

Whats the right breed for me?

Hmm, first thought that popped into my head was Great Dane. The only things that wouldn't suit your lifestyle would be a guard dog and agility. I've not yet met a Great Dane that would be good for either of those. But it's intelligent, looks elegant, loves attention, sheds barely at all, loves...

What'd you guys think of poodle/golden crosses?

Thanks, Duncan for the info. But actually, the reason we DO breed goldendoodles IS because we get a golden with poodle hair. We've tried the pure poodles, and they did not work out at ALL. Not to say that they are not smart, (They ARE) but just aren't cut out for guide work. If we mix a poodle...

    Big dogs vs little dogs

I DEFINATELY like the big dogs. I say, if you want a small dog, get a cat! They don't yap out the window. I like big dogs because... I like the look better, They're easier to handle, (Lol, this logic sounds awful, but I seriously find that the bigger the dog, the easier to handle.) You...

    No mutts? An odd thought...

Now that you mention it, I can only think of two of my neighbors that have mixed breeds. (One of them has two lab/pointer mixes, (sisters) and the other has a golden/poodle cross. (Sad to say they got him from a "breeder." The lab mixes were shelter rescues though.)

My dog is not for sale!!!

Lol, know what you mean. People are always telling BLITZ (They completely ignore me) that they're gonna come in the night and steal him. I've also had a few people ask me where they could get a jacket for THEIR dog. (The jacket that allows public access.) I always tell them that it came with the...

What'd you guys think of poodle/golden crosses?

Actually, GDA is not at ALL big. We've only got around three hundred puppies out at a time, opposed to Guide Dogs for the Blind, (The other GD school in California) who has around six hundred puppies out at a time. I know quite a few people who like GDA much better because it's smaller, and it's...
