The white Mini Schnauzer isn't recognised by the AKC as far as I know, yet it is part of the breed, and is no mutt.

I'm getting the hang of this house training myself now. Got myself a schedule all worked out. :p

She has only had 1 accident all day, and that was this morning when I brought her back in after peeing, thinking she had finished, then she pooped in her crate. :( Other than that, considering it's only the second day I've had her, it's been awesome :D

By the way, how long will an 8 week old sniff around for before she decides to urinate or poop?

Thanks a lot. I kinda noticed that before, but wasn't 100% sure. When she squats, her butt almost touches the floor, and her tail goes up, then she urinates. Only problem is, most of the time she gives me no clue she is gonna urinate, and just does it where ever she is at. :(

Really stupid question here, but what's the difference between a squat when she's peeing and a sit? I mean how can you tell which is which by just looking at a distance?

I got her to go outside eventually. :p She's sleeping now, and it's 1 am here in the UK. I'll check up on her every couple of hours, and when she wakes up, I'll carry her outside to go toilie. :p

I will be carrying her from now on... :D She is 8 weeks old today.

I just took her out of her crate to lead her to the toilet area, and she peed in the kitchen just before we got out of the door. :(

She went in doors while she was at the breeders, do you think that's why she goes inside and not out side at the moment?

Got my puppy today, she keeps peeing in doors. I kept her outside for like 20 odd minutes in the spot where I want her to go, I get her inside, and straight away. PEEING. I'm not mad or anything like that - because I know she's only doing what's natural, but do you think she refuses to go out...

Have you taken her to the vet for a check up? If not, you should.
