I agree, it's the thrill of the chase. I think he's too smart and remembers it was just sitting there in a cage not going anywhere - would have more fun chasing a sparrow. :lol-sign: What's in it for me he asks himself. Hopefully you can encourage him with something good when he finds it...

I don't do this but it sounds like a sweet idea, I'm sure my dogs would agree. I do like to leave them with a chew bone sometimes when I'm going off for a while. I don't do it every time - keeps them guessing! But a special treat at night - I like the sound of that. :)

My puppy Holly is 10 weeks old and has a short attention span! She seems to like the rope toys best, ones that she can flick and shake and growl at. She has a chew at the rubber chew toys but goes back to the rope one. To keep her interested and stimulate her young mind I would love to hear...
