I suspect it was M&M's post that was the culprit. Theresa means well, but English IS her second language and things tend to come out more didactically than perhaps kindly, and she does seem to live in an almost hyperbarically insulated, idealized missionary-zeal Christian world.

I was afraid they wouldn't let you wear the clogs because of the open backs. The Merrell shoes are AMAZING. My mom's an RN - just retired at 70. Her feet were a mess, complete with heel spurs. It had even caused her to have problems with her hip from limping around. Since she's been wearing the Merrells she walks normally and her feet don't hurt.
When your feet hurt, nothing is right. -
