Thanks Barb - Yes he is taking short walks, we are up to 2 ten minute walks a day with addition to his regular potty walks. Having been thru this, I have a question. When your dog moved about the house, did you hear popping and snapping? My concern is is this painful? He shows no pain behaviors...

Thanks, he was mostly "weight bearing" right away but two week he quiit and developed an infection. So again, another thing we were not warned against

:) Brand new to the site yesterday but I am enjoying reading all the great stories about people and their dogs. I find it fun to see people as crazy about their dogs as I am. If I was better at using the computer I would post a picture of Chance but Im not sure how. Perhaps in the next few days...

The vet gave us a list of therapy but it sure seems there could have been a little bit more info. Our first two weeks, what was suppose to be the rough days, went extremely well. He went into get the stiches out and it went down hill from there. Two days later he quit using his leg completely...
