I pronounce it Doxund. I know a lot of people pronounce it Dash-Hound (if they know that much of the name). I think there is a video on youtube about pronunciation. I forget what its called though... Mr. Wenerstichel or something like that.

Baron and Gimli don't wear collars unless they are going for a walk. Duke on the other hand has his collar on at all times, this is mostly because he hates it when you have to put the collar back on.

I normally say "Its okay. I have a puppy at home." I mean that I'm not mad about being jumped on and I know how hard it can be to have a dog that jumps. When ever I meet a dog that jumps I generally push them off and ignore the dog.
