I wouldn't recommend it unless you find one in a shelter or rescue. Otherwise get one or the other and from a good breeder.

I also agree that it shouldn't be used. I see it as very inappropriate to use the term in that way.

All dogs do shed regardless of breed. If you are looking for a hypo-allergenic, low shedding dog I would suggest a Poodle, Bichon Frise, Coton de Tulear, or hairless breed. Please remember that breeds such as the Bichon take a lot of work and grooming also.

Aww I am so sorry! Bichon Frise are a great breed and Jesse sounded wonderful! It is so hard to lose our 'kids' and I'm sure that Jesse will remain in your heart forever. I am positive that Jesse is happy and running free now. Take care!
