i tried feeding her the 1 year old + adult food, but she seems to sniff it and not eat it right away. however, when i feed her the puppy food she scarfs it down.
can i still use puppy food to feed my 1 year old dog?

im a fairly new dog owner and just reading a couple posts and threads i've learned pitbulls don't respond well to pain (explaining much of their gameness and endurance). in some ways this is good, but in other cases like discipline it works against the owner.

ok let's clear things up... i was joking about the "Dog Karate" and self-defense part. that's where i was screwing around and got a few posters (namely Julie and AllyKat) heated. i know the whole pitbull and dogfighting thing is a sensitive issue, but i really didn't think a dog performing...
