Big ole pot, like 10 qts or so. Water. Cracked, deveined shrimp. Andouille sausage. Whole red potatos. Whole large mushrooms. Ears of corn, cut in half. Red onion. Whatever cajun seasoning you like. We used McCormicks, though I do have a bottle of stuff I bought on our last trip to Louisiana. So, you can understand why I was distracted from starting a thread last night.
