I'm happy to hear a positive update!!

My good friend who's little girl is a year older than mine had spotting her entire first trimester (not sure if it was constant or just like a daily occurrence) and that was terrifying for her, but other than that she had a healthy pregnancy. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts :)

I'm so ready for this baby to be out and so not ready lol. At least I got my big kid sleeping in her own room smoothly and the baby's laundry done and car seat ready to be installed. But I feel so unprepared. I'll be full term Thursday. I'm tired of being pregnant but I think my fear of handling two is greater than my discomfort.

mm Hard to believe you're so close!

I'm on vacation this week and have been really enjoying walking tours and beach walks and am signed up for kayaking this afternoon. And then I get an email with yet another of my flyball teammates wondering if I'm going to be ok to compete at our next (small, indoors) tournament. So frustrating. I KNOW it's from a place of kindness but it's getting really annoying.

MM Doesn't seem possible that you are almost full term!

We told Hannah on the morning of her birthday that she was going to be a big sister. She is SUPER excited. I have a video but need to upload it so I can post it here. She's been going around making lists of everything she can do to help with the baby and what she can do for the baby and she keeps rubbing my belly and saying "I just can't believe you're really pregnant" lol.

So far this pregnancy is completely different from the first one. I don't have any morning sickness like I did with Hannah. I was so sick lol and that's how we figured out I was pregnant lol but this time not so much. After I eat I feel a little blah but nothing major and then just general tiredness but nothing I can't work with. I'm feeling really good this time around.

Waiting to hear back from the OB for my first appointment.

I'm almost 33 weeks and getting a bit more uncomfortable. I'm still working and doing most of my normal stuff. Trying to stay active and strong. I went to a dog show this weekend and it wore me out! Of course, I did do conformation, weight pull, and rally with Rhys.

I'm pretty sure baby is mostly head down. I feel a good amount of pressure in my pelvic floor and more stretching/kicking up under my ribs. I'm going to have my midwife feel around tomorrow at my appointment.

This weekend we have our childbirth class and we are going to set up the playpen/bassinet combo in our bedroom. I washed all my baby stuff yesterday and organized the baby's dresser. I also packed my diaper/baby bag for the birth center. I'll worry about our bags in a couple of weeks. Sometime in the next week or two I would like to go ahead and get the car seat installed and checked.

MM, your little one will be here before you know it!

It must be so nice to not be sick this time around!!! I had very little morning sickness too and I am super grateful for that.

Nausea has hit me with a vengence today. Little fish egg is saying "Ha! You ever doubted your hormone levels? Take THIS!" People keep telling me it's going to get worse and I can't figure out how that's possible, unless being bedridden and vomiting is the "worse". When you have to sneeze and then can't decide if you're going to end up sneezing or vomiting....that's "worse", in my opinion. Oh my God, this is horrible. I just want to lay around and not do anything, but I have to still actually be productive and run errands. FML.

Don't hesitate to tell your care providers about bad nausea - Hyperemesis Gravidarium (constant puking) is a treatable condition but many women don't realize they have it until AFTER.

Blackrose - the nausea/vomitting is horrible but at least it's a great sign after your scare! Try sniffing peppermint oil or getting food grade peppermint oil and putting a drop on your tongue. (You'll hear a lot of silly advice like this and try them all and hopefully one will work). And I agree if you're vomitting more than a couple times a day definitely try something, there's a whole slew of pretty safe meds you can take.

Sparks - that's so cute that Hannah is so excited. No morning sickness this time might mean a boy ;) !!! I'm so happy for you all.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that I'm due in 3 weeks. At least I got the more major stuff (car seat, basinett, etc) ready. Tonight my mom was like "did you pack your bag yet? Who's watching Lillian? What's the baby wearing home?" UMMMMMMM. "Whoever is available, I'll pack it before I leave, clothes."

That's what we keep thinking, too. Completely opposite symptoms... Perhaps it's a boy lol. Hannah is holding out hope for a sister though LOL

I'm actually not vomiting, thank God, although I suppose that may change. Just some really intense nausea. Got home from work yesterday and had to lay on the couch for two hours in order to start feeling better again. Blech. Luckily food doesn't seem to upset my stomach, so while *wanting* to eat is a battle, once I actually eat something it doesn't make the nausea worse.

I am told when I was born, my aunt (who was watching my sister) told my sister "it's a girl!" and my sister responded with "Never mind that - is it a sister??"

"Never mind that" doesn't sound like something my sister would ever say, let alone at 5 years old, so I'm not sure I believe the story, but there you go, LOL.

I had that for a few weeks! It was so weird. I was always wondering, "What did I just eat?"

I'm 33 weeks today. Totally amazed by all the baby movement. It's mesmerizing...never gets old. Baby has been head down for a few weeks now and I feel like we're getting into the home stretch :)

Ahahaha I'm not always a fan and I'm only 31 weeks. Little guy has some mighty kicks and my short torso does not like it when he wedges himself on my right side under my ribs. I like the reassurance that it provides, but the actual movement can be downright uncomfortable.

Lillian keeps telling people "I'm getting a sister, but not a big one" lol
That's adorable!

That's how I felt. His butt was always under my right ribs and he would punch the crap out of my bladder lol He was head down a ton. When he was born and I saw how long he was I could not believe he was wedged in my incredibly short torso.

My little man is 3 months now. He can roll both ways, he's just started to laugh a little, and he's very pleasant (I don't know where he got that).

The pressure under the ribs is a bitch!! I agree lol. I have a long torso (for my height) so I suppose I'm better off than some. Moving a lot and standing helps me.

I'm very excited to see this baby and finally find out gender! Although my husband and I still have not come to an agreement on the boy name...

I realized yesterday (while at my 12 year old SIL's Halloween party) that in 11 years, I am going to have two preteen girls in my house.

Help.
