I DO, I can't lie. I have literally been staring at BP's ever since I got home today. I haven't even started seriously handling Ziti since he's settling in but I just KNOW I need more snek! There's something so captivating and easy about them (well, these species at least). And they're angels in neatness compared even to my rats.
Hope you're still staring. *waggles eyebrows*
That is the best way to describe it- captivating and easy (and elegant and adorable), and weirdly super clean except for twice a month. What morphs would you be going for?

The most affordable! LOL there are so many beautiful morphs I'd love but couldn't afford right now all broke and 19, but if I could I'd love a plain banana morph or a pied.

I wouldnt mind settling for a nice normal but I'm also shopping around to see the varieties. I set up a little tub cage with a 32qt Sterilite bin, in the hopes of finding a well started juvenile or sub adult.

Ooo bananas have depreciated a lot really fast in the past couple years actually. You can find some male bananas for $200 shipped these days at the least. *waggles eyebrows more*

You probably already know the site, but I literally stalk faunaclassified all day long for snakes. ;; For under $100 even, there are still nice baby pastels, spiders, lesser/butters, yellowbelly, black pastels, mochas, fires, pastave... still a lot of morphs to choose from at a budget. ;) (I'm a terrible influence)

As it so happens, a breeder I started talking to had a gorgeous, vibrant baby boy 100% Het Pied all set and ready to go home... ;3

He's yet to have a name. But WOW, I'm in love! I adore how docile he was right out of the box, curious and calm, and nothing beats that inky black and gold coloring for me. He surfed around the tub for a while but now he's settled into his warm hide looking all cute and handsome. I also love how substantial he feels. Hopefully he'll take to feeding with a passion next week!

I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU HAHAHA. He is a gorgeous het pied!
So many noodles in a couple weeks!!! (or was it under one week? Who knows)

Now it is time to get a pied and make those pied babies. :D (half kidding)
Maybe sometime much in the future when your snakes are settled in.

Haha yeah definitely in the future when everyone's all grown up and settled and I'm used to reptiles again (it's been so long!) But I fully intend on a pied in the future one way or another ;)

On another note, PetSmart called me back for an interview for next week! I'm so excited. Life really seems to be looking a little brighter lately.

Oh gosh, little hairless beebs! So cute! People keep joking about me feeding my pet rats to my snakes but I must assure them I love them all.

My good news: I got the job at PetSmart! :D I'm so happy. I went in for my second interview today and they made the offer. I'll be a Pet Care Associate.

Well I went in today for my onboarding process and it turns out a position as Bather opened up in the salon and I was asked if I'm still interested in taking it on. Of course I said yes, as I've been interested in grooming as a possible career within the past year. I'll just have to take an assessment when I go in and hopefully that all goes well and I'll start training immediately.

Of course now that I have it though I'm hearing/seeing all these bad stories from people who were bathers at other stores, but I'm going to go in ready to learn and tackle the job! Really looking forward to this.

Bathing is hard, messy work, but I really enjoyed my time working at a grooming shop. :) Your coworkers and head groomers will be what makes or breaks the experience, though. But if you have a good team, I find it highly rewarding work.

Thanks for the input, it's really reassuring! Urgh I keep reading all these horror stories about PetSmart bathing but of course people tend to be more vocal about what they dislike than what they like.

Im comparing it to the job I'm coming out of from the past two seasons. I've been grooming, feeding, mucking, training and (sort of) supervising pony rides at the city zoo for the last two years and been stepped on, bitten, kicked at, and had to bathe unruly ponies and constantly take rides (with kids of various difficulties to deal with) so it can't be any harder than that!

I can't brag on facebook, so I'm bragging here. Bless my husband and his willingness to do whatever I need from him due to this dang nausea. Halfway through making dinner this evening I was hit with a spell and needed to go lay down. He dropped what he was doing to come in and finish dinner for me.

Which, bad he not, the result would have either been vomit or no dinner (or both), but still. He's been beyond helpful and even when I feel like I just need to suck it up and do it myself he's always one step ahead of me and doing it for me.

Finally processed for intake to get help for my mental health. This stuff is scary and I hope they don't want to hospitalize me. I went crazier than I have in a long time but as I escaped to the country, I found a little clarity and realized I'm probably not strong enough to deal with my crazy on my own.

My ex and I are friends now after finally having the long "closure" talk after I ran away a couple months ago. Our relationship went to **** but I'm still very glad to have him in my corner as a friend, and Eve is over the moon to be able to spend time with him again. I'm proud of him for moving forward with his life, I knew he got a second chance for a reason.

Eve and I are getting back on the fitness train and we look and feel better than we have in a long time. She's not showing her age a bit.

Thinking of you! It's hard to talk to people about such personal things but be honest. And don't fear the hospital! You get help so much quicker there. You see the dr every day vs once a month maybe outpatient. Just have a friend or the ex dog sit if needed?? But you have to put yourself first!!

Today I got to see one of my fitness mentors in person and told him about my training this weekend. He congratulated me and told me "You can do it. It takes a special person to want to lead other people to fitness and you have that personality. You'll be great." I said I still felt far away and intimidated by leading a class all alone, but said he was a big contributor in helping build the beast, that I could always hear his voice and the voices of some of my other coaches and mentors in my head.

"See?" he says. "You'll never actually be teaching alone."

Ah. Yes. Yes, I see.

And this is why he is a mentor.

They aren't hospitalizing me and the doctor I saw was able to immediately start me on medications that he thinks will help me. Also may be able to return to work with his release, so I'm feeling really light and hopeful.
