My newest foster. A coworker told me she had a "friend" who was a "breeder" and had a puppy returned at 7 mos for some behavioral issues. I gave him some advice, but without seeing the problems first hand I couldn't do much. He asked if I would just take him and fix him and find him a good place to land. I obliged. Picked up "Jax" last Thursday and promptly took him on an adventure camping and discing all weekend - along with a name change to Sherman (Pow and Swift were also heavy contenders). New start, new name! (and it also fits in case I decide he's too precious to give up...) He was a friggin rockstar all weekend and made some great friends. Now the honeymoon phase is over and it's time for doggie bootcamp business. Wish us luck!
