Anyone ever get creeped out when you catch one of your pets just watching you?

I'm chilling on my bedroom floor and I look up and Tobi (cat) is watching me while he dozes off like three feet away. There's some piercing about the awareness and intelligence in this cat's eyes. I'm used to animals only looking at me when I've got food or they want something or when I, well, attract attention to myself.

But I always catch this cat watching me and his behavior is so strikingly self and world aware that I get almost weirded out when I look back at him cause I just wanna know what he's thinking, especially when he's got an expression on his face directed at me.

Cats, man.
Unless we are interacting or he is in deep sleep, Hugo is staring at me. It creeped me out a first, but if I was always creeped out by it, I would be creeped out like 89% of the time I was home.

Not a cat, but Chloe is always staring at me. Sometimes I find it creepy, I used to find it super annoying but now I am used to it and her and am starting to find her Velcro ways cute..

I can somewhat relate, as my boyfriend and I have been fairly far apart for 2 of the 4 years we've been together. Shortly after dating, he moved to Arizona for school. After two years passed and seeing each other a couple times a year, he was done with school and moved back to minnesota.

Then several months later I moved about an hour and a half south. But we still see each other 1-2 times a week so I don't really count that as long distance. But, we just signed a lease to move in together in July! I'm a little nervous as we aren't used to being with each other 24/7.
It will be interesting trying to get used to sharing the bed again. He snores. And steals the covers. And randomly punches me in the middle of the night when he shifts positions. LOL We need a bigger bed...

Lol, we have a queen which seems like a pretty good size for us. And he doesn't really do any of those things, if anything I am the one to do those things haha. However, I am always hot and he's always cold, and I refuse to cuddle if I'm hot.. I feel like I'm being suffocated, so if he wants to cuddle then it is less blankets so I stay cool enough, but then he freezes and is attached to me all night..

For Christmas last year, I got him a blanket that has dual heating controls, so I just leave my side unheated and he can have his side heated- that has been working out pretty well for us and reduces the stealing (or in my case throwing) of covers. He always teases me that I destroy his bed.. But he has too many blankets and if I'm sleeping and I get too hot I get rid of them.

I am sorry about the punching. He might grow out of it? I used to snore and be a sleep ninja by punching/karate kicking people at night, now I think it's a rare occurrence!

My goal today was to clean/start packing. In 2 hours, I have managed to put a handful of books into a box. Too many distractions!
I did also kill a spider that came out of hiding from somewhere and then I had to leave the house for a bit to recover.

My last day of surgery today at work. Boss ordered Jimmy John's for everyone as a going away party for me. So bittersweet! The support I've had making such a huge change and leaving is amazing, though. :D

 You are brave! I am so afraid of spiders.. I can't get close enough to kill them.. I may, or may not, have taught Angel to eat spiders so I wouldn't have to be close to them.

Oh trust me there was lots of fumbling around before I managed it :rofl1: I do get to a point where I'm like well, I either take care of it or it's loose in here forever!

I actually have like 3 different spider killer sprays in my bedroom, but as luck had it - 1 didn't kill it, 1 was empty, and the 1 that usually works best apparently has a broken nozzle and wasn't spraying. It was a pretty intense moment of panic.

Oh geez! I suggest teaching your dog to eat spiders. It really is handy!

I know how that goes. It got down to the wire to the point where I just threw stuff in any box, no organization at all.

If You Feel Too Much creeps me out sometimes. Jamie just really hits it on the head and... Wow. I wish he were immortal, because his death will be such a loss for the world. That sounds morbid, but I hope he lives for a really, really long time.

"I have been a haunted house. I have had things did but stay and I didn't know how to make them leave. And there were certainly times she. I didn't want them to leave because they were beautiful. They were bridges to brighter days. I thought they were my dreams."

Every time I come across something that I think would make a great motivational poster, I keep reading and find more. And sometimes things like the above just resonate with me so much, especially right now. I hope I get to meet Jamie someday.

So today is my university graduation ceremony.

And I'm sitting here in my pajamas, more interested in drinking coffee and maybe taking a nap instead.

I didn't walk either. I've never really understood the ceremony type things or liked them. I would much rather go out to dinner with family and friends instead of participate in a stupid ceremony that is boring for everyone and that you barely get to spend quality time with the people that are there for you, I realize most people go do something after but I would just rather not waste my time doing the ceremony in the first place.

I also don't understand weddings and won't be having one. They are soooo expensive, I don't enjoy them, and idk I don't like the being the center of attention so formally thing either. So maybe that is part of my dislike of ceremonies? But seriously I would rather spend my time with people at like a house party or dinner that doesn't cost much money and you get more quality time with people. I also would rather save the money that people spend on weddings and put it towards a house or something.

I feel like I'm the only one that hates these things..

Class of 2015 will just be awesome, but... I'm not even all that exicted. It's something I'm really happy about, and hopefully things will actually get better, but I'm

Also... For some odd reason, I'll miss high school, even though it wasn't the best, I'll still miss my friends in grades under me, and, even a few teachers(thats not stange, right?)

Oh, it's normal. Even in like elementary school, I would get SO sad every time a school year was over because I would miss my teachers so much lol.

And besides, you've been in high school for 4 years, been in the school system for even longer, it's a way of life for you. It's a big change to be free of that (until college, lol). And unlike college, you will never go back to high school again. Which is a bit scary.

BUT, it will all be okay :) Trust me, life gets even better from here!

I didn't cry when I graduated like some of my classmates did, but I DID cry when our senior year basketball season ended. Bawled my eyes out in the locker room our last game. I didn't even love playing, but I loved my coach and our team. I still miss some of my teachers (and definitely my coach) to this day.

So not weird at all. It's a big chapter of life, for only being 4 years!

I bawled when graduating from Middle school. And, frankly, I'll probably miss my Teachers more than students. Even though it wasnt the best(but, not all that bad, either) I'll still miss school. All the memories, and the like.

I sure do hope it'll get better soon, and I'm it will. It really isn't bad right now, its just people (students, and teachers) who doubt me. But, I really shouldn't have such negative outlook on everything, and thats what leads me to having those thoughts. A lot of good things have been happening lately.

Hahahaha, I cried at my last football game, even when I wasnt in it, and even though I'll graduate, I can still attend.

And, yes! It is a big chapter in my life, and a very exciting one at that! But... Now I need to adult. Which I would rather not do.
