Grab, I used to run the Kingman marathon every year. In hoping to get back to it in 2016. :)

Jess, Tucson isn't SUPER close, but I could make a day trip out of it (or you could come down here and see the valley, whichever you'd prefer.) I'm so excited!!!!

I'm feeling really relaxed and secure for a change. Lots of extra work this month, the weather is starting to get really nice, just feeling... good.

Of course now that I've posted this, I'm going to jinx it. :p

I was pre-approved for a mortgage today.
I don't really know what to think of all this adult information but.... yay. :p
Congrats! We just put in an offer for a house as well. It's nerve wracking waiting for a response. Once that's approved then we need to do inspections. I'm hoping everything goes well and we can get in by the end of this month.

Nail-biting is over, both my niece and nephew made it into a Muny show this year and they'll be Muny Kids (perform all year around St. Louis). Nephew is going to play 'Chip' in Beauty and the Beast. He did really well as young Tarzan last season, had no problem singing a solo and a duet in front of 10,000 people. Looking forward to the Muny season this year!

You guys.
I get an office at my new job.

Not a desk. Not a cubicle. I don't even have to share it. It is MY office, mine all mine. With a door I can shut if I want to because people are too loud and bothering me.

MY OWN OFFICE.

THIS IS A BIG DEAL.

So, I have a home. A significant other who is mostly always awesome. I'm less worried about money now, than I ever have been. I get to take a month or two off from working to do art and travel and do cool stuff.

Life is good. I need to keep reminding myself of that.

You guys.

So excited...doing a partial kitchen remodel.

Adding some cabinets, a dishwasher, and a shiny new stove!

A little thing really, but so much joy for me :D

That table is awesome, Falon!

I got a small raise this week. :)

Also, I just ordered my first pair of minimalist, zero-drop shoes for hiking this summer as well as new Howling Dog Alaska harnesses for the bunch.

My DH made this table. I am in love with it.

I <3 minimalist shoes... I have a pair of new balance and a pair of vivos. I used to get ankle pain on hikes with rough terrain or longer than 6 or so miles. After I switched to these shoes I've never had pain again. And my knees don't hurt when I jog. I hope you love them.

I do, too! I basically live in my moccasins as of right now, so my feet are pretty well adjusted to zero-drop already. I ended up settling on the vivobarefoot trail freaks. :)

My neck, shoulders and legs are killing me and I have blisters on my hands and very little time to sleep but the first qualifier horse show of this year is on saturday!! We're not even close to ready but it will get us out and about. Maybe a miracle will happen and we'll qualify!

Phew....

Qcumber was really sick this week. A bit off on monday morning but bounced back. A bit off again tues but nothing too noticeable. Then tues afternoon into night he went downhill fast...started throwing up large volume of liquid. We took him to vet first thing wednesday morning. I wouldve gone to evet if I know how much came out but last couple I slept through as DH had him downstairs. He was extremely dehydrated. I was pretty sure by that point we were dealing with a blockage...and we were. Vet pumped him with fluids and monitored all day. We brought him home for the night with plans to bring him back in the next morning for surgery but with hope that with the fluids in him he would be able to move it on his own...and he did! Phew buddy! He was immediately feeling better. He went back in this morning for some more iv fluids and bloodwork but was home and back to mostly normal by noon.
