Charliedog that sucks! Screw him. Move out. Get it over and never talk to him again. I am mad for you. That is something my husband would have done when he was 18.

I have found with cars there are so many tricks with ins companies. One little thing can mean junking it even if it's not a big part. Second most places that fix cars do not report to whatever entity that car fax whatever and there really doesn't have to be a value loss. We had husbands car fixed at a place ins company picked that didn't report, they don't report, and we fixed the little things. Lights are cheap on ebay and we have a place here called certafit. Not sure if that's a national store. They have body panels and lights cheap. Body shop will paint to match.

Things will be better once your away from him!!

Was being a nice big sister and said I'd feed her dogs tonight while she and her new husband spent the night away.

Walk back to the kennel. Feed the dogs. Realize that the only water they have (which was in a normal dish) is frozen solid. Heated bucket is empty, and looked as if it had been empty for quite some time considering it should hold 3 days worth of water. So I lug a bucket of water out there and fill the heated bucket. While doing so, realize both of the dog houses essentially have no straw. It is going to be in the low 20s tonight. Dogs have been outside all last night and all day today.

What. The ****.

And I suddenly remembered why I wasn't on speaking terms with my sister. Ugh.

My car was wrecked. I'd written it off as a loss at first look, but thank god I learned more than one trade and am a mechanic. Swapped a sway bar and tow bar out, and the did it perfectly, in my yard. Now my car no longer wants to drag me into a ditch when it's driven.

...

Can Mercury please get out of retrograde, and PLEASE GOD let it be someone else turn in the barrel, someone who actually DESERVES this crap?!
I was telling boyfriend about this last night and we're pretty much in agreement that you and the dogs need to live in a bubble. I seriously have no idea how you're keeping your **** together right now but KUDOS!

Bounced a check. $200 in fees. Hooray!
$200??? What the heck, that is a lot of money to charge someone that obviously didn't have the $$ in the first place! Feel free to not answer this question, but is this the first time you bounced a check? I can not believe the fee for this would be $200! That is crazy.

It's great how you clearly didn't have enough money to cover the check, so they try to take more money.
Exactly. Bank logic.

It is! The fee is $35 per submission, but when the check doesn't clear, it keeps getting resubmitted (by the bank) until the next deposit hits the account. 6 resubmissions in 48 hours?!

It is my first bounced check :(

That's the worst thing about checks... they just keep trying to put it through over and over again. That's an insane amount of times for 48 hours. : (

nobody really needs to read this, but VENTING THREAD, so might as well...

(chats with a creeper who's been chasing me for the past year and a half and grosses myself out...)

He's a nice guy normally, I'm sure. But apparently very low social intelligence about how to get girls to like him. And he has indeed successfully repelled me. LOL.

Are we the only ones in the world without snow? No snow, and it's 1F out. Another day trying to keep everyone amused mostly indoors, sigh.
