I don't think I've posted any winter dog pics yet this year. I had a lull in picture taking for a while, but I've been trying to get back into it recently. Had a fun mini photoshoot with Yarrow and my sister again this evening! I'll start with those pics.

And onto other random winter photos...

When I win the Megabucks, I am going to rent a plane, fly my dogs out to you, and pay you an obscene amount of money to take pretty pictures of them.

Your dogs and the scenery of course are beautiful, but your photos are just spectacular.

Your photography skills are simply amazing.

And I am so jealous of where you live. It doesn't help that I actually went out there this past summer and completely fell in love with the place.

So much love. So much.

This!

I also love how Yarrows white spot sometimes looks like a bird, especially in some of the shots with your sister.

Your dogs are just ridiculously photogenic.

I want to come stay with you in the winter, get some nice shots of me and my nutters and then fly home to where it's warm, because too long in the cold and I turn into a popsicle :p

Well that sounds like a whole lot of fun! Get on that megabucks-winning!

Thank you! And cool!! Where did you go? To BC or to this actual part of BC?

His spot is so interesting! It sometimes looks exactly heart shaped, and you're right, it totally looks like a bird in some of those.

Winter is excellent for photos, but yeah I could do with a lot less of it than we get! Blah...

So much love. Just gorgeous.
:) Thanks!

So I don't know exactly where you live... But we drove up through the Kootenay Mountains. Then we crossed over in Banff and drove home from there. We had been through South Dakota, Wyomming, and Montana... But we loved the Canadian Rockies the most. We absolutely plan to go back again... I just don't think it will be this summer because we have a lot going on already.

It was truly gorgeous out there though. I wouldn't be surprised if it became our go-to vacation spot when we become more established. I was actually joking around that we should buy a summer home out there so when I become a school nurse I can pack up the dogs, horses, and kids and hang out in the mountains all summer. The only part he didn't like about that idea is the part where he doesn't get summers off. Haha.

Oh, cool! You probably drove through the East Kootenays, so I'm over in the West Kootenays. We aren't quite as close to the Rockies over here but we have some nice mountain ranges.

It is definitely a beautiful spot!
