Hello,
I decided I should probably introduce myself as I have been reading/stalking all of you for the past several months!

I have learned a great deal and for that I thank all of you! However, you all have contributed to a horrible spurt of way over-spending on my dogs/dog stuff!!!

Anyways, I am in my senior year of school, but will be going on to a Master's in Social Work program. So I have about two years from now and will be done with school- since my masters is only a year!

If you were to talk to any of my friends, you would know I am completely obsessed with my dogs and constantly thinking about things related to dogs.. it is pretty much all I really talk about, I am sure all my friends/family are sick of it!

I have two Miniature Schnauzers, Angel (the grandmother) and Chloe (grand-daughter). Angel is and always has been mine, I recently inherited Chloe when my mom passed away, and well that has been complicated (I used to hate Chloe, but now she is my baby). I have been working with her a lot since I have had her and she has come a long way!

And now for (lots) of pictures- some newer and some older! (if I can figure out how to upload them!)

(more..)

The last photo is of Lily (Angel's daughter, Chloe's mother) and she has been missed :(

I officially probably won the award for most photos in an intro thread, but I know I like seeing photos, so I hope you guys don't mind!

And from my reading, I know you guys are very particular about breeding, and if anyone was wondering both Angel and Chloe are spayed and I do not have future plans of breeding dogs in the future. I have learned a lot these last few years especially!

Welcome! Both of your girls are gorgeous. You can never share too many pictures, the more, the better!

I'm senior in High School too, so it's nice to see someone [else] around my age.

Do you compete in any dogsports?

Your girls are adorable!... though I may be biased lol
Yes! I was wondering if you would see my intro thread! and who doesn't love schnauzers? Haha.. I mean I get it if they are not people's favorite dogs, but there is a surprising number of people who LOVE them, it makes going on walks or festivals with them difficult because I get stopped so much with the "Oh I love Schnauzers" or "I have/had a schnauzer..." stories.

Welcome :)

Your girls are darling!
Thank you =)

Welcome! I love the picture of them sitting on all their toys. Too cute!
I have several family/friends who are obsessed with my two girls and well.. they get toys a lot.. they have a bunch of new toys now, this picture is pretty old and half of these toys have been donated.

I sat next to you at the UpDog Disc event.

:p
Yes!!! I remember you and Siri. I think I called Siri a him and felt really bad.. lol. I so want to get into disc with my next dog! I am taught Chloe how to do a rebound off of me and am in the progress of teaching her a foot stall, and then I am sure I will move onto other common disc tricks like vaults and other plays off foot stalls. And practice rollers, as she is not fast enough to catch a flying disc  But she will be a great dummy dog for me to practice with for when I get a dog that I can seriously compete with! *hint hint* probably a koolie, I. am. in. love.

Welcome! Your dogs are so cute!!
Thank you guys!

Thanks! And that is what I thought, the more pictures the better! And you can get to see what my girls are like at least a little bit from the photos.

I should have said this before, but Chloe (4) is the lighter one and Angel (12) is the darker. As you can see in the photos Chloe is extremely needy/clingy.

I actually am not a senior in high school, but a senior in college- one more semester and I will have my BSSW! and then I have one more year until I will have my MSW!!! Can't wait to be done with school!

But we are at least somewhat close in age! and I agree it is nice =)

I used to compete with Angel in agility and LOVED it, she did too- she is extremely focused and would get into this cute little runner stance at the beginning of the course until I released her. Unfortunately, she was my first dog I ever did a sport with, and as such I did not know the importance of stretching/warming up/etc. and her back hurts her.

Because of this, I pulled her out of agility (and I had some life trauma and then headed off to college) so the timing just wasn't ideal to try to get back into it. I did take her to a chiropractor for a long time and I think she feels a lot better. But I still don't want to do any of the contact obstacles.. I think the A-frame is what hurt her, she would be running so fast she would slam at the bottom to do her 2 on 2 off and would do a hand stand from stopping too fast.

However, I will probably be starting back up in agility (at least classes) with Chloe and maybe Angel (Angel not doing things like the A-frame and such) once I am done with school.

Once I am done with college, I will be looking for a house. Once I get a house, I will be keeping my eyes open for litters for a more serious competing dog for agility and disc.

I was looking at the photos and it probably looks like I never groom them! Haha. Well I just groomed them yesterday (I do it myself) and I have proof with this photo showing their new bed and their other new collars as I was worried I wouldn't like my Paco collars with how much "bling" they had (I was wrong, I love them).

Oh! Sorry about that.

I've just always been that person that considered "School" to be K-12th grade.

Congrats,& good luck!

Are you kidding??? I dream everyday about getting one! I can't wait to seriously compete again, and have learned a lot these past few years!

Plus I have schnauzers, they are known to be barky- however angel and lily were never barky, Chloe was/still somewhat is. But she has come a long way since I have had her.

I also feel a little bit like a creeper but I have pretty much watched all of the YouTube videos of Lindsey's traveler and Didgie to see more koolies.

I am in love! (Although Didgie seems like she can be pretty loud during training and such sometimes) lol.
