Ugh...I bought a new cellphone on monday - and it got here yesterday, only I wasn't home... so I was supposed to pick it up today. Go to the postoffice and THEN they tell me, no packages from the 4th are in the Postoffice because DHL is striking :rolleyes: Now I have to wait until Monday. Which means I have to leave work early AGAIN and go drive there again on monday.. even though the slip that was left in my mailbox said today. <- first world problems

the satellite installation guy is supposed to be here btw 8am and 12pm and I am freaking out about it, I dont know the area very well, since I have only been here for a week or so, I sorely hope he can find it on his own but these techs seem to have a knack for not knowing how, even though they have a GPS :/

Ugh, yesterday was horrible. I had this feeling of just staying home all day. I should have.

Quinn, in all her glory, has a very bad crittering problem. The temptation of a startled deer mere feet from her when she walked out the door was just too much. And in all her teenage glory, she promptly said, "Uh, screw you I am having fun" and didn't return when called. So started my day. Tracking down and tethering an extremely fast teenage border collie as she rounded up and herded all the deer in the neighborhood.

I felt absolutely terrible about it and proceeded to bully my ego into submission until I had sufficiently decided I was a horrible owner, a failure of a trainer, I had ruined my dog by not nipping this crittering issue in the bud when I had, WHY didn't I just walk her to the car with a leash, she will never have recall now, it will take years to solve TWO problems now, I am going to have to shock collar train her, etc, etc. I was in near tears all the way to our training facility, to the point of even my trainer who is a VERY no-nonsense you screwed up type of person was trying to console me and tell me I didn't ruin her.

Then I was rushed into our massage person in my moment of weakness (because I had been refusing to deal with the knot and pinched nerve in my shoulder. This is her sort of expertise...muscle injury. But she only takes cash or checks. Well I have no checks. Who had checks anymore? But Zander needs food to last him until the ordered food comes in so I rush out, get lost in Denver trying to find Petco, and then the **** machine didn't even GIVE ME a cash back option. So then I got lost again trying to find an ATM.

All the way BACK to the training center. She gets to work on my shoulders and I have tears rolling down my face because I let it go too long and now there is a LOT of work to be done and I have screwed my entire back up by compensating.

But I feel better afterwards! Yay! Feel so spectacular and I decide to work with Quinn anyway in the hour the facility will be empty with my camera. Goes beautifully. Get it all in frame and recorded. Perfect.

Drop trainer off in between there and home. Get lost trying to get back to pick up BeAu and drive home. He doesn't tell me when he gets off, so I sit and stew in anger for an hour in the car. Get that sorted out.

Go home, Zander ( who I JUST bathed) is covered in poop explosion in his crate. Clean that.

FINALLY get in bed.

Wake up to curls I have NO idea what to do with because I am not used to my hair being healthy and all natural.

And I have an interview in 30 minutes. I am hoping and praying this is good news BECAUSE I NEED IT.

Not sure if this is a vent or a muse but my toe has hurt for a few days. Just real sore. Hadn't thought much of it, thought it was the heels. Finally looked at the bottom of my foot and I have a HUGE thorn stuck in my big toe. I pulled it out and drained it.

Holycrap. No wonder it was sore.

I started working twelves. It's not bad. Work every third weekend and get like five days off in a row which is actually really awesome.

But holy crap my husband is like a child with the house. I come home and there is a trail of mud I can follow through the house to find him. And pop cans and chip bags around him. And this am not only is the iPad dead so is my computer that was sitting in the middle of the mess. He's like look the dogs are having fun. Yeah they are and it looks like they dragged clean clothes all over the floor. Not so clean now cuz they soaked up your mud trail.

So yeah. My day off has been cleaning this. And my aunt died which I feel really bad about because I wasn't close to her but I feel awful for my dad and her and my favorite aunt were always bickering and I hope they worked it out :( just blah!

Wow sounds like my OH, and whats more infuriating is that he CAN be neat when he really wants to be, but its like when I am here, he knows he doesnt have to because I am a super neat freak, and OCD and he knows if I see a mess or whatever, that I will clean it up.

I would have made him help you.

I've got an ingrown toenail and it hurts like a bitch. Arghhhh
I read this very first thing this morning when I was still half asleep, and I thought you said, "I've got an ignorant toenail and it hurts like a bitch."

I was trying to figure out a.) how your toenail could be ignorant, and b.) why you would blame your poor toenail for something it can't control due to lack of education. :rofl1:

Did I mention I was still half asleep? LOL

This is obviously true because an educated toenail would know the proper way to grow - NOT into the flesh :rofl1: I'm going to start calling it an ignorant toenail, thank you!

Well pump went out, so no water for us or horses. Luckily, we'd stored jugs of water in the house for when the barn pump freezes (which has been a LOT more than last year). Called well pump company and the guy was nice enough to come out right away to assess the problem, then came out first thing in the morning to fix said problem. 2600 dollars later, we have water. Sigh... Merry Christmas to us...

The same thing happened to us a while back, when my folks were on vacation, too -_-. It turned out to be something electrical that home owners insurance paid for except the deductible, hooray for insurance!

Hearing about wells I am so glad we don't have to worry about them! What is it that goes bad? The pipes from them or the electric or just all of it? I know peoe who have had wells just dry up and been screwed. We have the pond so if it came down to it we have a generator, axe,and sump to get the horses water should the water intake freeze like it did last year
