FINALLY, other than mushing (which has to wait a few more weeks) Maisy's exercise restrictions were lifted last week. I've been gradually building up to the BFFs being outside together and today was the first day I cut them loose.
I was happy with how easy they took it. They mostly played tug, some gentle keep-away, and "let's walk around holding it together" with this big stick.
When Maisy got tired of that and went on an (unsuccessful) poop-finding mission, Squash got very flirty trying to entice her but I was very happy how he did NOT get physical with her. It was a nice way to ease them back into outdoor play.
LOOK HOW MUCH FUN THIS STICK IS lol
Thanks for looking!
