Im buying a back up kit like I mentioned tomorrow. Im also going to try and get more flavors, or at least more of what I like. All of my clearomizers are top coils, Im going to get at least one bottom coil as well.

Since Im going to have 10 clearomizers Im also going to buy a label maker.

My first try with the E-cig was horrible, my second not so much but it was a drip system. Using the tanks or clearomizers is awesome.

I want to get an E-pipe system.

My lungs are clearing, I can breath better, I have a sense of smell, and most importantly I am sleeping better.

I wish I had done this sooner.
I have four and they're all different colors, so I just made a draft in my email detailing what was in what, but if all of yours are the same color, yeah a label maker is a must lol.

Also, beware that if you use chocolate flavor in ANY of them, EVERY juice you put in afterwards will have a chocolate undertaste. Same with menthol.

And if you are crafty (and I know you are) you can buy coil wire and wicks and replace your attys yourself without having to buy new ones. You just need a way to measure the resistance of the coil to make sure it's where you want it. You can also add more wick to get more "smoke" out of the vape. The amount of smoke I get is important to me for some reason, and I can NOT stand a harsh throat hit off an e-cig, even though with my analogs I can.

7 days without a smoke. That is all.
I wish I was was where you're at. I was told to be aware that the first couple of weeks while your lungs are healing up you're going to be hacking up crap and you might think it's from the e-cig, but really it's your lungs clearing out the junk from analogs. It goes away after about two to three weeks. After three weeks on an e-cig my bro in law doesn't have a smokers cough anymore, he doesn't have a clogged throat in the morning and he feels WAY better when he wakes up.

Way to go though!!!

What juices are you liking the best? What setup are you thinking about getting/ or have? I want to get a battery with variable voltage too. I prefer my attys at 1.8 resistance, the 2.3 or 2.4 give me a harsher hit for some reason, and the other post I made about the harsh hit was the atty in the disposable clearomizer I was using was dead. I upgraded to a similar one, but with a replaceable atty. I've saved all my dead attys for the day I can get a battery that will measure the voltage/resistance and get the coil wire and wick to replace them.

There's also a CRAP LOAD of youtube videos on how to clean replaceable attys so they last longer.

Both of my batteries are EVODs and all my tanks are Kanger or EVOD tanks. I like that the shop I buy from whatever tank/clearomizer I buy fits every single battery they sell which is cool, and they always have great recommendations for new flavors to try or suggestions for helping cut off analogs.

I went up to 24mgs of nic, but it was way to harsh for me, so I cut back down to 17/18mgs of nic and that helps much better. I'm considering getting a 24mg of a flavor I like and then like a 14 or 16 no flavor nic to mix so that I get that flavor but at a nic level I can handle.

It's definitely trial and error. My worst moments for smoking analogs are after class or during my five hour class on breaks, as well as driving. If I could kick the analogs while driving I think kicking it on my class breaks would be easier. Any tips?

Also, I definitely like bottom coils a bit better than top coils. Tops coils give it a warmer flavor/hit when coming out, which for me translates to a harsher throat hit. Some people really like that harsh hit because it's similar to their analogs, but I prefer a cooler hit that the bottom coils give. I'm really glad you bumped/made this thread because I was considering making one myself.

I don't want to quit smoking, but I want to just smoke the e-cig and quit analogs. I'm really struggling with that part though. I have so many habits where analogs are just the go to for it. Transferring those habits to using an e-cig has been difficult for me for some reason.

I wish I was like my bro-in law. He just immediately dropped analogs once he got his setup. So did my mom for the most part. And I feel like an ass because if I light up an analog, so does she, and she's been smoking way longer than I have, so I've been trying to just use the e-cig around her, because if I use that, she doesn't smoke analogs, she'll smoke the e-cig with me.

The other great part is that I DON'T STINK after smoking the e-cig. I smell like butterscotch or watermelon and nobody knows I've been smoking. If I can kick the analogs completely, I can get a HUGE reduction in my health insurance.

The VV came with 5 clear clearomizers.

Not going to be a issue

I know a lot of these can be modded and rebuilt, Ild like to avoid the hassle if I can.

I felt better after 3 days. I had no idea how strong the coffee smell was in the work kitchenette before I switched.

Im liking the coffee flavored ones, Vapor Chef's Souther Hospitality and Pear Brandy a favorites as well. Im not too worried about the batteries or mods right now, Im just happy the switch is going well.

I have the iTaste VV and MVP so thats what Im going to buy for. The MVP is a far better platform for adjustability, the VV is going to be my back up.

18mg of nic seems to be my sweet spot.

I hand rolled my smokes for a long time, making the switch was very easy for me. Ive also been wanting to quit for a long time as well. I actually got nauseous a few days ago when I considered rolling up a smoke for another taste comparison. Vaping is a lot more convenient then rolling a smoke as well.

I didnt notice the cooler hit of the bottom coil tank, I like the harsher hits but I still like the bottom coil.

I didnt want to quit analogs either, that probably why this thread is so old without an update. Maybe its that I rolled my own smokes that made the switch easy for me. Trying my buddies VV pretty much got me to make the switch.

Im digging the not stinking of an ashtray bit of the switch.

My dad tried it and was VERY successful and he had been smoking for 20+ yrs.
I tried it... I couldn't do it. It was so gross and made me throw up a couple of times using it actually.
Though I am damned and determined to stop now since I'm working out a lot more & starting college.
I tried e cigs and they make me cough really bad :( ironically analog cigs don't :/.

But that being said I don't smoke in public or even in my car, or my house ... I know you technically can hi I don't even smoke the e cigs in my house lol.

You may be allergic to the propylene glycol. Maybe try and find a flavor that doesnt have the PG.

I think I'm finally getting weaned off of analogs.

I took the dogs out and took about four hits before I started feeling sick, dizzy and shaky. I put it out and went inside and got my e-cig.

YAY!

Im doing everything I can to not fall back on analogs. I have two places buy "liquid", and I think Ive found a second place for parts/third place for liquid, Ill find out Friday.

I have two batteries, 7 tanks, 2 empty tanks

I want a drip set up to carry with me but I like the tanks for everyday use.

Switching to an E-Cig over an analog, a 25 year smoker likes the E-Cig better.

Crap, I'm almost 40. Ive got a rant about 20 something kids Ill add somewhere.

Hahaha, thanks blue. It feels pretty good actually. I haven't been smoking as long as you have, but I've been smoking for almost half my life. :p

I've seen a lot about drip set-ups, but I'm still not quite clued into what that is. How is it better/different than a tank setup?

I dont prefer dripping over tanks, I just want a set up so I can easily try other juices on the fly. It makes it easier to switch from juice to juice without having to clean tanks in between. You drip 2-4 drops directly on the coil at a time.

Broke down and bought the Innokin VTR. I should have bought this last week instead of the MVP. Its bigger, comfortable for my hand and more adjustable. Only 3 of my tanks will work with the VRT, but thats ok I can always use an adapter. Its heavy but comfortable and vapes amazing.

Closing in on my longest time without smoking in 25 years, May 9th is that date. No tobacco since 01/09/14.

I havent saved any money switching to e-cigs, but I dont care as I am off tobacco. If I hadnt hand rolled pipe tobacco for so long I would actualy be saving money over buying packs of cigs.

I have 5 mods, several bottom coil tanks, and 3 rebuildables, so I am good on gear or kit. I can build my own coils for the RBAs and RDA, my cotton wicking is hit and miss on the RBAs but getting better. Im also looking at a better dripper and a mechanical mod, but thats after I upgrade my servers hard drives.

I am breathing better, sleeping better, drinking less, and actually loosing weight.

It's hard to find the right one, with the right juice, with the right coils, with the right tanks, etc... Needless to say, they're high maintenance. However, once you find the right one, they can be incredibly helpful and enjoyable. Stay away from cheapies! Good luck :)

I havent had a cig since 01/09/14.. I started with a beginner kit and quickly moved to a higher power APV. I use mechanicals at home along with high voltage APV to drip on. I use tanks with an Innokin VTR when driving or at work.

The mechs are high maintenance, the tanks and APVs are pretty easy, just fill the tank ad swap the coil when they burn out.

The cheapies have worked for some people, they didnt work for me. THe right hardware and liquid is the key.
