Guilty Pleasure music/movies?

Ok, spin off from the 13 things thread, does anyone have any horrible guilty pleasure music or movies? For example, even though I have built up great street cred as having fantastic taste in music... I will admit to you that I love these songs and listen to them all the time:

As for movies, I absolutely love the first Bring it On... and I have also seen Showgirls like 30 times. SHAME.

International horror movies, and SyFy made for tv horror movies! Two headed Shark attack, Troll Hunter, Dead Snow, Rare Imports...so much win!

For me it's the "scary movie" movies & movies like them, I am a sucker for that type of hilarious, stupid, raunchy humor ... ESP in the unrated version.

Newsies. Haha.

I have no guilty pleasures for just music... I only have awesome taste in music outside of Newsies.

I can watch gilmore girls, gossip girl, Veronica mars, Buffy, and a number of other young girl shows over and over and over with pleasure.

I also lurve dirty dancing, which everyone should, and embarrassingly the remake of footloose.

Denis is a film nerd and tells me regularly how awful my taste is. I just smile though because he's such a film nerd he can almost never walk away, if for nothing else than to heckle, so I usually win anyway.

Music, I rock show tunes and country more often than not. It's awful but somehow comforting, they're stories I can keep my mind mildly engaged with at all times.

I can rarely stand silence, it makes me uncomfortable, so I habitually find music and shows I can use for background noise which means not too engaging to be distracting but enough to keep mild interest.

I adore good country music, but sometimes... sometimes I just want to hear She Cranks my Tractor, or He Can't Even Bait a Hook.

Mm, bad music...

Well, since I listen to the Top 40 radio station, I'm pretty sure that counts, haha. I have no interest in listening to most of it outside of the car, but it's fun.

I am a sucker for romantic comedies. But only specific ones. That I will watch over and over. On the flipside, a lot of horror movies. I just watched The Descent a couple nights ago, that was terrifying because I am so claustrophobic.

What's wrong with Newsies?! I love Newsies...


Uhhh right now my guilty pleasure is One Direction's "Kiss You." I'm not really impressed with 1D on the whole and most of their songs sound quite similar (I know, it's pop music, it's pretty formulaic anyway) to the point that I frequently can't figure out if I'm listening to "That's What Makes You Beautiful" or "Live While We're Young." And that's saying something because I'm a radio person and we have ridiculous skills with identifying songs and artists on just a few beats, a few lyrics (sometimes not even correct lyrics), BACKWARDS, slowed down, et cetera...
But that STUPID Kiss You song.

For movies, I love Zoolander more than anybody probably should. It's kind of ridiculous. Like almost daily references to the movie. Every time I cough: "I think I'm getting the black lung, Pop." My mom bought a box of that Dove chocolate ice cream bar, Magnum, and I'm running around going "MAGNUM!!" like Todd at the end of the movie. I mean really. And it's not even a recent movie at this point.

I love crappy old rap. Like from the 80s and 90s. So much fun to dance to.

As for movies? I adore cheesy teen comedies like Bring It On. I've seen it probably hundreds of times and still love it. In fact I'm watching it right now.

Music wise? I pretty much just listen to the 'popular' top 40 radio type stations, and same with the country. And I like a lot of the songs.

TV: I watch Buffy ALL the time. OMG. Spikeybear... Chicago Fire is another one you could call a guilty pleasure I suppose, but it really is a good show. I watch The Middle, Modern Family, HIMYM, The Voice. The Voice is the only talent show I watch, and it's mostly because, um, Adam Levine? Blake? And now they have Usher and Shakira? That is perfection.

Oh I'm sad, I didn't realize Buffy was a guilty pleasure LOL.

My puppy is going to be named Willow, and her registered name will be Brigadoon's Under Your Spell (from the song Tara sang in the musical episode of Buffy). Yep, I a major Buffy addict and I have no shame.

I pretty much love The Voice now because Usher. I mean seriously. The only way it would get any better is if they added Ne-Yo.
and Justin Timberlake.
I would never watch anything else but The Voice if that happened.

Oh man, one of my TV guilty pleasures is so embarrassing I don't even want to admit it...

Guilty pleasures in music? I love listening to Ke$ha and Dev. But I'm not as ashamed of this as I probably should be, and take no issues with Spotify broadcasting my music tastes on Facebook.

I've also developed a newfound love for musicals over the last few years. I'm rewatching Les Misérables as I type this, but I don't just mean Les Mis, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, etc. My musical loving friend has been sending me soundtracks and videos of performances from Wicked (which I did see in person), Miss Saigon, Chess, Jersey Boys, Book of Mormon, etc. And I love them

AND HEY. When did How I Met Your Mother and Modern Family become guilty pleasures? Goddamnit! Now I feel even worse about my actual guilty pleasure show.

Of the three, the two shows I'm less embarrassed by are Game of Thrones (so much anticipation for the premier, and no one to geek over it with) annnnd America's Next Top Model. I don't actually keep up with ANTM but after every season, I'll download all the episodes and watch them all in one sitting. And yes, I'll totally enjoy it. My third and terrible guilty pleasures is The Vampire Diaries plsdon'tjudgemekthnx. My best excuse is that some of the guys are really, really attractive. My secondary excuse is that I am still a teenager for a few more months, so just let me have this one thing :rofl1:

Nothing, if you're asking me... Apparently a lot, if you're asking my fiancé. Lol. But he was kind enough to buy it for me on blu-ray for my birthday <3

TLC is another major guilty pleasure for me. I watch that ridiculous Gypsy disaster show, My Strange Addiction, Say Yes to the Dress, Dance Moms, Toddlers & Tiaras.... its like watching train wrecks happening and there is something oddly addicting about that. Also, it makes me feel superior.
