- Use this gate only with pets whose head or body will not fit into openings in the gate, between gate and floor, or between gate and wall.
- If you intend to use for child safety as well as for pets, the manufacturer recommended age is six months to two years as long as child is not able to climb over, dislodge or open gate.
- Gate may also be installed at bottom of stairs only if it can be mounted so it’s positioned over the floor, not over open area above a step.
- Wall Brackets must be mounted to a flat surface, not on uneven molding or woodwork trim.
