We all love our, TomTom's, Magellean's, and Garmin's in the car. You can easily find your way and know where you are going. What do you do, however, if by some nightmare, you lose your dog? Your worst fears now never have to be lived! This GPS locator uses a powered Assisted Global Positioning System with a 2-way wireless transmitter. This transmitter sends a signal consistently to a satellite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so that you can know your pets location whenever you please and going out of range is never an option. The way it notifies you if your dog is indeed lost, is once he steps out of his Home Zone Boundary, you will receive a notifcation though your e-mail or your phone to inform you that he has exited this zone. Answering the notification will put you on with a Specialist that will stay with you until you have found your friend. The Home Zone boundary is easily set up with your phone or over the internet.

The collar unit is a rugged compact unit fitted with a weather ready collar strap. The transmitted weighs 4.2 oz and measures 3.75"x2.5"x1.25". The unit is water resistant and extremely durable to put up with even the worst of elements.

Collar Settings

• Monitor Mode: The default operating mode of the PetSafe GPS Locator collar regularly checks that your dog is in the Home Zone™.
• Walk Mode: Allows you and your dog to leave the Home Zone for up to 45 minutes at a time; then automatically reverts back to Monitor Mode.
• Locate Mode: If your dog leaves the Home Zone - or if the Walk Mode elapses before your dog is back in the Home Zone - the unit shifts into Locate Mode and sends an escape alert to the Customer Care Center.

When you receive the alert, you can track your pet using this website or you can call the Customer Care Center to begin the tracking process.

Setting up your Home Zone

1. Go outside and stand at the center point of your desired Home Zone™. To obtain an accurate location, you must have a clear view of the sky.
2. Press the red Mode button for one second and release it. Both the red and green light should turn on, then off.
3. Press the Mode button four times in succession. The green and red lights on the device should illuminate as follows: The red light flashes until the location of the device is successfully obtained, which may take up to five minutes. The green light flashes for five seconds to confirm that the Home Zone Boundary has been set.
Your system will arrive at your home with simple directions on how to setup the required annual subscription to a Service Plan. As part of your Dog Tracker Service Plan, you'll receive a notification alert via cellphone, text message and/or e-mail whenever your dog roams outside of the Home Zone™ or the battery on your GPS dog collar runs low.

Your Service Plan includes unlimited notifications throughout the year. This service plan is supported by PetSafe.
