The blanket is made completely from post-consumer plastics that use AZO-Free dyes for the bright, vibrant colors. The recycled plastics used are tested and approved for use by pets. The reason we featured the AZO-Free dyes is due to the recent Directive from the European Union. This release restricted certain dangerous substances and preparations (AZO colourants) in textile and leather products. This was due to dye agents and form amines, or breakdown products, which have carcinogenic and mutagen properties. Thankfully we follow the rules closely!!
