They give you an energy-efficient, secure and durable product for easy and safe independent pet entry and exit. Fabricated from the same acrylic as small aircraft windshields, the high-impact shatter-resistant Plexiglas panels are incredibly durable, and unlike some inexpensive vinyl panels, can’t be chewed by your pet. Clear acrylic panels swing quietly in both directions and shut automatically behind your pet.
Dual panels allow pets of varying sizes to use the pet door (size Small has only one panel). Panels are molded to form a 'Thermo pane' effect and include a snug-fitting dense weatherseal for draft-proofing, providing excellent insulation that makes this pet door ideal for homeowners in extreme climates. The panels are framed in heavy rust-free anodized aluminum that's too thick for your dog to chew or bend, and you won’t have to worry about warping and cracking as with wood frames. Choose from a brushed finish or a baked-on enamel finish – far more durable than paint. A lock is included that secures the panels shut when needed, as well as a steel plate that will completely secure the opening should you be away for an extended time.
