Your dog loves to chew. He could probably chew through the walls if he thought they were tasty enough. You know you have seen him chew through at least 2 dog doors so far. Here is a dog door that simply cannot be chewed! This is a commercial version of our High Impact Pet Door but the steel plates cover acrylic flap edges in order to prevent chewing. Although the weather seal is about the only non-chewproof item on this door. The spacing of the flap makes it very difficult to get to and maintains a tight seal on the door so no major loss is sustained if the weather seal is gone. Each door is constructed of high impact, shatter resistant Plexiglas panels (the same used in hockey rinks and small aircraft!) so that your pet remains safe and the door is extremely durable. The panels are molded to form a “Thermopane” effect that makes for a super tight seal going in or out so that your heating and cooling bills do not soar through the roof! The frames are made of anodized aluminum or baked on enamel depending on the look you require and both materials are rust and chew proof. Each unit comes with a lock to secure the panels when you go out of town. For added security, we also included a seperate steel security panel to completely seal off the door. Unit comes with lock to secure the panels shut when required, and a separate steel security panel to completely close the opening. The Basic Unit does not include exterior frame or security panel.

Panel(s) will be replaced FREE of charge if destroyed by chewing. Warranty does not cover weatherseal or local labor.

Please Note: Frame Kits for trimming out the Chew-Guard doors to mount in a house door that is 1 3/4"thick. The trim pieces are not needed if the pet door is to be mounted in a wall. Frame out the holes with the material the walls are made from. Wall Kits for after construction remodeling of kennels. The wall kits are all aluminum with stainless steel hardware. The outside cut hole is 2" taller.
