A red LED blinks when the unit is on and transmitting. The LED blinks once a second. Battery life is expected to be 1000 hours. The Strike uses a 3.6 volt lithium battery. The Strike collar comes standard with Tree Switch. The Motion Sensor (point mode) option is available instead of the Tree Switch on a special-order basis.
