To track stored frequencies simply press the up or down button. For unstored frequencies, enter the frequency. Frequency tuning:
Sometimes your frequencies are effected by external factors such as temperature or humidity. With the Maxima you can use your programming to fine tune your collar frequency.
Near Button:
Close tracking couldn't be easier by adding a Near mode to your receiver which makes setting the gain much easier.
Range:
The Maxima receiver is rated at 12 miles line of sight; 4-7 miles in rolling hills and 2.5 - 4 miles in mountainous areas. However there are numerous factors that can effect this range, such as: transmitter strength; ground cover; moisture and receiver antenna being used.
