Rottiegirl has a right to post this. It may not be a reliable new's source. It may not be a pretty picture. It may be something that makes people dislike Pits more or something that some don't want to read about. But sensorship isn't in the cards here unless someone is breaking the forum rules or policy. As far as I know, there's nothing about not posting something about a dog attack, regardless of what some might feel about the thread, whether it's a tabloid newspaper or a reputable newspaper. I CAN understand about not posting something with links to a porn site. Good heavens! That's not allowed. But shutting down a thread because a few people don't like what they're seeing is unreasonable.
No one was rude and so what if there are other threads about other breeds attacking. We have lots of threads which resemble past threads, from potty training to nipping puppies. Do we say that this has all been posted before but with another breed so why post this topic again? Maybe some people are interested in stories of attacks by dogs. Some are more interested in puppy training. If one doesn't like it, go read another thread.

ok, I said that I wouldnt post again but I just wanted to say thank you to doberluv for your last post. Yeah, I should not have posted the actual site, instead I should have just posted a link to the pictures only, but the site had info and thats why I posted it. To every one else that does not think that those pics resemble an actual attack, I have seen other pics (from an attourney who works with dog attacks every day) and I can say that those pics accurately resemble an attack. yes, dog attacks can be that gruesom, dogs can easily slice through skin and crush bones. I have more pics if you would like to compare, but I dont think anyone would like that. I dont think anyone has seen pics of the aftermath of a full fledged attack.
Yes, vulgarity and links which go against forum policy is out. Good. Raising eyebrows, comments and questions is all good. It was suggested that the thread should not have been made, that Rottiegirl shouldn't have posted it, that the thread should be locked. That's what lit the spark to write my post there.
