Don't worry about it Doodly, that person is always starting fights. Seems to be partial to people who are getting poodle/lab mixes, and people asking for name help. Ignore it.

BTW, I really like Kovu, it's original!

How about Charlie...? Wouldnt exactly call it original though, seeing as there is about 15 dogs with the name Charlie on this forum :p But it's an awesome name ^^;

Or Max? Buddy? Jake? Oliver?

Think about what he will look like when he's an adult...do a google image search for apricot labradoodle and look at the adult dogs...don't just base it on what he looks like now :)

OP- I really like the name Oliver! And I still like Kovu, lol.

mybostonterrier- I am not even going to respond to that! I am done talking to you on here, you are acting childish and it is pathetic, if you have anything else to say take it to PM.

Charlie is a cool name, but we're going for something a little more original...like at the park, we would call "Charlie" and 10 dogs would come racing! Same goes for Max or Buddy. Oliver is a good one though...I'll write it down. Thanks :)

Those are cool names! I've written them down. All I want to know from mybostonterrier is this- why do you want to cause fights?

Something will hit you just right.....We usually all shorten their names to one syllable ....anxious to know what you come up with !!! Such a sweet pup !!! What are you leaning towards ??

I just PM'ed you back :)

Yes, we were thinking of what his shortened name would be, and had to eliminate lots of good choices because of it. Everyone wants a different name, so I can't say the whole family is leaning towards anything! We're going to have another discussion on Wednesday night about it.

Sometimes it's so much easier when the breeder names them... I grew up with Irish Setter " Tony " ...he was preregistered as " Sir Anthony of Kilnerdare "..second was my 1st Golden " Point " ... he was " Lorelei's Golden Point " .... of the Poidexter breeding. Over the next 50 years it was decisions---decisions !!!

I found a few more (I LOVE searching for names, lol):

Gough- Celtic for red-haired (At least it's original!)
Rowan- Gaelic meaning red-haired (I know its apricot, but it looks kinda red)
Adonis- Greek mythology, the youth that Aphrodite loved
Dono- In Japan, something that is greatly respected and admired
Baci- Italian meaning kisses (I'm sure he'll give you tons)
Akamai- Hawaiian meaning smart

I also like:
Gimli (I know a lab/poodle cross named this)
Frodo
Aragorn
Gandalf
Wraith (kinda stole it from myirishwolfie, kinda didn't)
Bilbo
Pippin
...But that's just the LOTR lover in me talking, lol.

Scruffy, Dusty, Miller (short for Miller Light :) ), Bud (Budweiser). I really like the first 3 though, because of his color and his fur looks kinda scruffy (not a bad thing!) in the pic.
