Hi, good to see so many enthusiastic, helpful, people on this forum.

So.... Digger is a 14 week old Staffie. We live in a terrace house with a mainly concrete back yard. We have a park up the road where he'll get walked after his 3rd vaccination. In the meantime, he's being exercised inside, and in the back yard.

We have a small garden, and he has his own sandpit (a good distance from the garden) for digging in. The sandpit is sand, the garden is mulched. We have him (kind of...) trained to not go on the garden - if anyone is out there, he won't go near the garden. But, if we go inside, almost straight away he's onto the garden.... As soon as we see him on the garden, we run out and correct him. But he seems to see it more as a game than anything else, and doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Any suggestions on correcting behaviour that the pup won't do in front of me? Or another way of keeping him off the garden?

Cheers
