So, Logan has a show in a month, and his left ear tends to go prick (as opposed to tipped). Generally it's okay, but I want it to be as nice as possible before a show. I've kept it glued, but this last time the glue pulled a good amount of hair off, and I'd like to give it time to grow back. So I want to tape it. I found a way to tape it from he outside (inspired by Poison's ears, sort of lol) so the inside is tape-free and can grow hair, but ALL the tape I can find is white.

Is there any BLACK or even brown/dark tape that might work? I have a roll of "sheltie ear tape" that works well for this purpose, but alas, it's white. I have a roll of Mueller sports tape, and it sucks, but it's white anyway. What about covering it in black vetwrap, do you think that would work without hurting the ear? Not vetwrap alone, but lightly over the top of the tape.

I just can't realistically work him in public with a ton of white tape all over his ear

Color it with a black sharpie. ;)
I was considering that :rofl1:

For now, it comes out REALLY easy with acetone (much easier than the glue!), so I'm just going to remove it when he works, and replace it when we're home, until I figure something else out.
