Is the Kirklands food good to feed? Have they had any recalls? Ive been feeding Orijen for years but I just cant afford it right now.

I've never fed it, but I know quite a few people have and recommend it.

We fed it to Mo and he enjoyed it... it worked well for him. :) It was my compromise with my mom because I couldn't stand him being fed Pedigree but since I was just the teenager, I couldn't go out and buy him a bag of Orijen... so the Kirklands brand was our compromise. I would say it's a good food for the price!

I haven't fed them to Zik but my neighbor has done so for years and he says they are good.

    They seem "so so" average.
You get what you pay for.
I suppose they are good value and deliver what they can for what they charge.

Some Kirkland recipes having notably higher protein and at the same time lower carbs.
Veggie and fruit content is on the lower side.
