I just took Oakley on a walk, and we ran into these 2 girls walking the most adorable little ball of fluff!!!! He was an 8 week old golden...they had just gotten him yesterday!!!! He was the most chill little puppy I have ever seen...was barely phased by the 'giant' black dog sniffing his butt, hahaha.

Since I didnt have a cam, and I figured everyone needed a reminder of the cuteness of a golden puppy...i stole a pic off the internet:

I WANT A PUPPY!!!!!!!!

OMG, I can so relate to that! I did a 'baddie' (3 yrs ago) - I bought my Lhasa in a pet store, but it was her smell that made me do it. My mom (she lives w/me) had been bugging me for a dog for months, so my sister tricked me into finding her in the pet store at the puppy windows. She had one Lhasa out, just 'cus they're such cute furballs, but Pinkie stood up & barked at me thru the glass, and when I took her out to the play area her little spiritedness just tickled me. We brought a dachsund puppy out, too, and she kept knocking him over and standing over him, barking & trying to play. She scared him so bad, he peed all over. LOLOL

But I left her there 'cus I didn't really want a dog that I knew I'd end up taking care of, in addition to everything else I take care of.

That night her smell just kept washing over me - it was really bizarre, but it was enough. The next morning I ran to the pet store, bought her, and brought her home as a surprise for my Mom. My niece named her Pinkie 'cus of that pink eye, and one pink toe.

I still wash her in the puppy shampoo she was using when I first smelled her. :)

I think golden retriever puppies were given an absolutely unfair amount of cuteness. They're probably the cutest puppies EVER.

I miss my golden girl.
