AKC Miscellaneous Class

I'll admit that I'm not up to par when it comes to the AKC, confirmation shows, ect, but I was fwd an e-mail on the following breeds that have all been enducted into the Miscellaneous Class on or before Sept 1, 2005 and are in the process of possibly being officially AKC recognized...

Beauceron, Plott, Redbone Coonhound, Swedish Vallhund, Tibetan Mastiff

What are the breeders of those breeds thinking?

They are thinking that they want to be able to compete at AKC events with their dogs.

What else would they be thinking?

Breeds are no longer allowed to stay in the Misc. classes. Each breed that is recognized and put in the Misc. group will be fully recognized within 12 mos of being allowed to compete in the Misc. class.
