    Puppy stuff!

    Crate training is an AMAZING tool on so many levels, especially housebreaking. My labs are 3 and 4 yrs old and they still have thier crates. They will actually go inside and shut the door when they want a break or a nap. Crating gets my vote too.

    What would happen if...

    You would prolly have to prove the person bitten was trying to hurt you. Or that you felt threatened. In Michigan, depending the severity of the bite/attack, they don't destroy dogs for a first offense.

    $50 intake fee??? wowie zowie!! Where do you live? I work for the humane society and we have recieved calls asking us to pick up strays and people get frustrated when we tell them we can not. In Michigan it's an insurance "issue". And i'm with you on automated phone answering...

    suggestions needed!!

    We use vests for our dogs that read our organization name. The leash sleeve is an excellent idea.. never thought of that.

    Hi everyone! Just a quicky intro, not much of a chatter. I have 3 labs (mixes?), 1 Boston Terrier, and this goofy cat that rules the roost. I work for our local humane society. I really enjoy these forums... it's soo nice to see happy, well cared for pets after a long day at the shelter...
