Actually, I am the proud owner of a female IT! She's almost 2 years old, and is a wonderful dog, although certainly not for everyone, LOL. They are very active, very intense, but very devoted. There is nothing "middle of the road" about the IT - they're an all or nothing kind of dog, LOL!

Very true, and I think they are in Ontario, with very small numbers in their group. I would imagine the closest Western Canadian comparison is the Hutterites, as I mentioned above.:)

I don't think anyone has said that. I think what has been pointed out is that your average Canadian just knows more about America than your average American knows about Canada. There are reasons for that, but I think it is probably quite true.

I don't get that either, Saje. I think in some respects the US just very much takes Canada for granted, kwim? And when we actually stand up and don't agree to go along with something they are proposing I think they sorta go "eh?" and it shocks them, LOL. I want to go to Chile, LOL!
