Update Spoke with the vet. He told me that the bump was likely cause by the vaccination. It the swelling doesn't subside with a week I'm suppose to bring her in.

Sorry didn't want to steal the thread but I'm sorta in the same boat. I do all the disiplining and my wife has all the playtime. You see the reflection of this in her reaction to our commands.

Thanks for the comments. Cropping ears for PPD originated for practical purposes. Please correct me if I'm wrong but they were originallly done so no dog or person could grab ahold of them and to pinpoint sounds better. I got them done simply cause a dobe just doesn't look like a dobe without it...
